Friday 29th & Saturday 30th November 2024
Celebrate the beginning of the festive season at the 2nd annual Pershore Georgian Christmas Fayre. We were thrilled to see the support and enthusiasm from our community last year, and we hope to deliver an even more magical experience in 2024.

Friday 29th November: 4 pm - 8 pm
Saturday 30th November: 10 am - 4 pm
The unmissable Christmas Lights Switch On will take place Friday at 6 pm on Broad Street.
Opening Procession
Take part in a lantern-lit procession from Church Street, passing through the High Street, and ending at the majestic Christmas tree on Broad Street. The procession will be led by Santa Claus himself, accompanied by the angelic voices of Pershore Abbey Choir.
Santa’s Grotto
The man with the bag will return to his grotto, ready to meet the children of Pershore. Little ones can have their special moment meeting Santa and receive a free gift from his workshop.
Vintage Fairground
This year we are expanding the fairground to Church Walk, providing more space for classic rides and traditional games.
Entertainment
Live musical performances will take place on Friday, following the lights switch on, and throughout Saturday. Please note: this year we are celebrating WITHOUT fireworks.
Road Closures
We aim to provide a safe event with minimal disruption to the town. Therefore half of Broad Street (including the car park and Eastbound lane) will be closed. This year, Church Walk will also be closed. These closures will be in effect for most of Friday and Saturday. We recommend parking at Abbey Park Car Park (0.2-mile walk), High Street/Asda Car Park (0.3-mile walk), Avon Meadow Car Park (0.4-mile walk), or the Civic Centre Car Park (0.4-mile walk).
